Turkey and Azerbaijan have been planning to start the implementation of the infrastructure projects to strengthen the cooperation in the economic field and take advantage of the victory of the Karabakh war as soon as it is possible.
According to media reports, in the coming days, Baku and Ankara are going to sign the memorandum of understanding on gas supplies to Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Armenian media speculate that Azerbaijan and Turkey are also planning to build a gas pipeline to Azerbaijan through the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic speculating that it will go through the agreed ‘corridor’ in Armenia and the ‘occupied parts’ of the Republic of Artsakh.
