- The Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) released a statement claiming that its forces had captured 90 ISIS members in 34 security operations in northeastern Syria in October. According to the YPG, during the same period, the group reportedly killed 3 Turkish soldiers and 39 Turkish-backed militants as well as destroyed 8 vehicles.
- In northern Hama, the Syrian Arab Army repelled an attack by the Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP) near the town of al-Masasna.
- According to the Turkish state-run media, ISIS released 7 US soldiers captured by the terrorist group in the province of Deir Ezzor in September. This reportedly became possible thanks to a deal between the YPG and ISIS. MORE HERE
