On March 29, large explosion rocked the Syrian town of Ras al-Ain in Hasaka province. An IED in the local shop. According to the reports, at least three civilians were injured. No casualties were reported. The town of Ras al-Ain is under the control of Turkish-backed forces.
According to the reports by the Syrian Observation for Human Rights (SOHR), on March 28th, SDF forces carried out a successful operation in Ras al-Ain countryside, killing 5 Turkish-backed militants and wounding 3 others.
Meanwhile, clashes between the Turkish-backed militants and Kurdish forces break through Northern Syria on a regular basis.
Earlier the same day, on March 29th, clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Turkish-backed militants were reported in Sher district of Afrin. Kurdish sources claimed that Turkish-backed militants launched attack on Maranaz village. The attack ended with the withdrawal of the Turkish forces, as the Qasd elements confronted them.
The both sides claimed to inflict losses in the enemy ranks. SDF killed seven of the Turkish-backed forces and wounded 20. Kurds shared photo of one of the killed pro-Turkish militants, identified as Abu Hafs.
On the other hand, the FSA claimed that at least 10 Kurdish fighters were killed, providing no evidences.
