Houthi Drones Strike Back With New Attack On Saudi Arabia

On May 28, the Saudi-led coalition announced that it had foiled a drone attack by the Houthis (Ansar Allah) on the Kingdom territory.

In a brief statement, the coalition claimed that a drone had been “intercepted” and “destroyed” over the southern part of Saud Arabia. The drone, whose type was not identified, was allegedly launched from Yemen.

“The Houthi terrorist militia continues its attempts to target civilians and civilian objects … We take operational measures to protect civilians … from these hostile attempts,” the statement, which was shared by the Saudi Press Agency, reads.

Usually, Houthi drones are intercepted by F-15 warplanes of the Royal Saudi Air Force armed with air-to-air missiles like the radar-guided AIM-120 AMRAAM.

The Houthis are yet to comment on the Saudi-led coalition’s claims. The Yemeni group usually announce its attacks on the Kingdom.

In the last few months, the Houthis launched dozens of attacks on Saudi Arabia with locally-made drones and missiles. The Yemeni group also carried out a large-scale ground operation on the border with the Kingdom’s southern province of Jizan. Footage of the operation will be released soon.

iran needs first to move closer to a vizier or vazier like position instead of pathetic presidential system which basically this election was pretty much made in a way to solve the issue and hopefully in future we will only have meritocracy instead of populism and when it comes to yemen irans new vazir should make sure that the entire territory around yemen meaning the islands specially socotra and peninsulars and small islands around yemen are all secured and if not handed to ansarullah atleast controlled by iranian forces

Arch Bungle

I thought Iran already has such a system in the person of his Excellency Ali Khamenei and the council of elders?

farbat

uae thinks it can take socotra but we will take them and not just them so these oil sheikhs just do as they do they will be suprised of how fast their ruin will come to them

farbat

the uae has to be cornered badly in the next months to come they either start to kiss the hands of yemen and palestinians or they will fall to ruin

farbat

bahrain should not exist to begin with and the entire problem in the peninsular and of yemen is this absurd collection of criminal entities which should come to an end and diego garcia should not be left alone either

The Objective

it would be nice for all these things you mentioned to happen. UAE and Al-Saud family falls, Bahrain, etc. But the problems is that I’m gonna tell you one thing: Iran doesn’t and will never have the guts to face Israel or America in a real resistance. What Iran is leading is just passive resistance which never achieves anything.
As long as Iranian leaders continue to fear war with America, not a single of Iran’s goal can ever materialize.
Take Iraq for example. Iran wants the U.S out desperately. But what’s happening? Despite having hundreds of thousands of militias in Iraq armed with missiles, Iran has never mustered the courage to engage in the kind of resistance that will impose cost (death) on American troops. But on the other hand, America is gradually building a secular Iraq military and gradually weakening the militias, causing division among them and unraveling their grip on the Iraqi society. America is winning, but in a gradual way. Iraq’s secular forces are getting stronger and stronger as the U.S train and arm them. And I foresee a civil war in the future between the Iraqi military and the PMU. The U.S will definitely provide air support for the Iraqi military.
Iran’s reaction so far has been to launch fearful attacks on U.S convoys or authorize some aimed-to-miss rocket, missile, and drone attacks. The result is an indifferent America and an America that would never leave Iran for many more years to come.
So my friend, Iran’s leaders are cowards by all standards. They set very ambitious goals and try to achieve it by playing politics or sponsoring non-state actors. This strategy is already a failed one as I’m sure that the Anglozionists will definitely start a civil war in Lebanon and Iraq that will crush Iran’s militias. It’s just a matter of time.
