On January 3, the Houthis’ snipers force released a detailed report of the results of its operations against the Saudi-led coalition and its proxies during December.

According to the report, Houthi snipers killed 67 soldiers and officers of the Saudi military, 11 Sudanese soldiers, a Kuwaiti officer and “hundreds” of Saudi-backed Yemen fighters. The snipers force also claimed that its personnel targeted 22 military vehicles and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Saudi-led coalition.

Since the beginning of last year, Houthi snipers have increased their activity throughout Yemen. Furthermore, the Yemeni group armed its snipers with a variety of locally modified heavy sniper rifles and western-made sniper rifles, which were captured from the Saudi military.

The Houthis are using their snipers force as an effective tool to deter the Saudi-led coalition by infecting heavy loses on it without the need to launch costly large-scale attacks.

Very effective use of limited resources. I can’t help but feel sympathy for this underdog…

      Who ?, Saudi Arabia ?

      • Jakke1899

No, on the contrary, Mr. Al! The Houti’s are the underdog in this battle in my view.

Sorry, I did some satire before, my satire; that nobody else gets.

Well, let’s hope you don’t make your income from satire! (satirically speaking, of course) ;-)

The Houthis are the Finnish of 1939 or the Greeks of 1940. Superb fighters, winning against much superior-sized armies and material!

As Carlos Hatchcock said in an old interview i watched long time ago:
A thousands bombs can change a battle, a single bullet can change history.

the vietcong once stop a marine company from moving because everytime they stand up , someone got shot in the head.. they called massive airstrikes on estimated sniper location , bombed it with napalm and when its all over the marines stand up and ‘bang’ another marine shot in the head. After that no one want to stand anymore

it is an eye witness account from a marine grunt during vietnam war
