It appears all the major towns are in still in us puppet -gov hands . So why are we told that the Taliban are winning? Is most of the population living in the Taliban land? The roads? The agricultural products?

    • χρηστος

they are said to be winning because after a decade of fighting they still exist. The allies never won. they have just suppressed them in minor areas but ‘recent’ counterattack had the results seen on the map. The US wants to bail out. there is no way they can win this. Afghanistan is a lost cause. they try negotiations just to avoid another ‘fall of Saigon’

So they brought in ISIS, so they can say there as said above – “Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Dunford said that the US is planning to keep presence in Afghanistan as long as the “insurgency” continues” !!!?

        • χρηστος

maybe thats their last hope. to have a permanent base somewhere in the region. But whatever the deal will be they will not survive being surrounded by Taliban. maybe they will rely on ISIS for their security. to keep the balance

Control is a relative thing – half of the red/green areas are still arguably contested. For comparison, here’s the areas in Afghanistan the UK government says Brits should not travel to at all (= Taliban will kidnap or kill you). I would guess that coincides pretty well with the areas the CIA has lost control of the poppy fields, too. Heroin prices going up this summer, Europe.

That is more like it; thanks you very much.

PS I would not travel anywhere near Afghanistan.

      • Brother Ma

So much for Nato winning the war in Afghanistan! What a joke! Remind me again..why did we go to Afghanistan? Bring back the poppy fields or that’s right punish the taliban because they let osama hide there. Really? Why didn’t the natoistzioyankees bomb kosovo when osama planned and executed 9/11 from THERE?

Zionatojewssa . All cheats ,liars and murderers .

Bingo, Bravo. I want to ask this all the time, but somehow forget; we are also told that that they have 55-60% of Afghanistan under control…even on here it is Taliban win after Taliban win etc…… why is the Taliban’s Green area reducing slowly but surely ?.
