Officer, Five Soldiers Killed In Bomb Attack In Egypt’s North Sinai

On December 29, an officer and five soldiers were killed in a bomb attack that hit their vehicle while they carried out a raid on a militant post in North Sinai, the Egyptian Military said in a statement.

According to the statement, the bomb was laid by militants. There are no details or info about the location of the incident.

In a separate development, security forces killed three militants.
