On March 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin paid an unannounced working visit to Mariupol to inspect a number of locations in the city and talk to local residents.

The president arrived in Mariupol by helicopter, accompanied by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. The surprise visit marked the first time Putin has been to the Donbass region, since it de facto broke away from Ukraine nine years ago.

According to the Kremlin press service, Putin drove a vehicle along Mariupol streets and made stops at several locations to speak with the city’s residents.

The president inspected the progress of restoration efforts, including the construction of “new residential districts, social and educational facilities, housing and communal services infrastructure, medical institutions.” He also toured the “coastline in the area of the yacht club, theater,” as well as other “memorable places” in the city.

Putin also received a detailed report about the progress of ongoing reconstruction work in the city and its outskirts from Khusnullin.

“In particular, the report concerned the construction of new residential districts, social and educational facilities, utility infrastructure and medical centers,” the Kremlin press service said.

Mariupol was liberated by Russian forces last May in the framework of the military operation in Ukraine. The city joined the Russian Federation as part of the Donetsk People’s Republic after a referendum that was held in September.

Khusnullin informed Putin that Mariupol residents that left Mariupol earlier due to fighting, have been actively returning to the city.

“People have started actively returning, with growth of the population registered,” the deputy prime minister said, adding that jobs are being created in the city.

Commenting on a story by Khusnullin on how Kiev forces mined medical equipment in Mariupol hospital before withdrawing, Putin said that this is “not the way normal people do it.”

The Russian victory in Mariupol was a major blow to the Kiev regime, as it landed Moscow a land bridge to the Crimean Peninsula and denied Ukraine any access to the Sea of Azov. The battle also marked a humiliating defeat to the Ukrainian nationalist Azov Brigade, which is designated by Russia as a terrorist group.

Putin’s visit to Mariupol stresses Russia’s commitment to rebuilding and defending the strategic city. The visit came as Kiev forces are preparing a large-scale offensive next spring with support from the United States and other NATO members. Mariupol and several other cities in Donetsk and the nearby Zaporozhye region are said to be the main targets of the planned offensive.

International Criminal Court “A bunch of useless People”
A few African countries in the past have tried to scuttle the ICC because selective justice is no justice at all. The leader of an African country in the past has shown how the West uses the ICC to prosecute Africans in general. Never has the ICC put out an arrest warrant against a Western criminal or offender.
The recent arrest warrant against President Putin is an example of long arm jurisdiction using the ICC as a tool by the West to achieve its own goals. It hopes to cause discontent in Russia and a possible replacement of President Putin.
Russians and the rest of the world are against the ICC. A rival Global Court should be created by Russia, China, India and most of Africa to issue arrest warrants against the sponsors of ISIS, the destroyers of Syria and the warmongers who killed countless civilians during the Iraqi invasion.
Even though the Western countries will never sign on to a new Global Court, the rest of the world should use it to arrest Western criminals who keep committing crimes and going away free.

Friday – ICC looking for PR Headline Sensationalism. Does it have any legal bearing? Considering Russia, US and Ukraine are not part of it.

Saturday – President Putin visits Crimea and Mariupol. The body language of the residents says it all. Compare to a Zelinsk* Green Screen Visit.

Monday – President Xi goes to Moscow, and will be discussing the Peace Agreement, amongst other things. How does that fit in with the ICC Toilet Paper?

Tuesday – US allegedly plan to arrest Trump. No doubt in order to keep the Russian-Chinese Summit out of the headlines, or am I being cynical?

Great Tsar Putin, needs to make the war machine grow by increasing the export of armaments, lowering the price for the Russian forces, in addition to generating income and employment. Russians having more children. Not threatening but letting it be known that any republic that recently asked Russia for help cannot abandon it.
It is a very difficult situation for Russia, wars in Africa, Syria, insubordination in the former Soviet republics encouraged by the CIA and Israel. In this context, it will be harder for Israel to shoot down its fighter jets when they attack Syria. It is not possible for Israel one day after the earthquake to attack Syria. In addition to fighting unequal against 45 countries in Ukraine.. I remember Covid Russian help arriving in Italy, Germany to the USA, New York.
All are cowards and ungrateful Scoundrels.
