Israel’s ISI released a satellite image showing the impact of the July 1 Israeli strike on the area of Jomrayah, near the Syrian capital of Damascus. The picture allow to see that the strike destroyed some hangar at the compound. The Israeli firm claimed that the hangar was “related” to Hezbollah and Iran, but provided no evidence to confirm this claim.
The July 1 Israeli strike also targeted the areas of al-Mazzeh and al-Dimass near Damascus, and event a civilian area in the district of Sahnaya causing civilian casualties. However, these facts were ignored by the ISI report.
It’s interesting to note that some pro-Israeli sources speculated that Russian electronic warfare efforts against Israeli missiles became the reason why an Israeli strike hit the civilian area. These claims are a useful example of the narrative-shaping operations carried out by US-Israeli mainstream media outlets and think tanks on a constant basis.
