Saudi-led Coalition Bombed Crash Site Of Its Combat Drone Shot Down By Houthis (Video, Map)

The Houthi (Ansar Allah) media wing released a video showing strikes of the Saudi-led coalition on the crash site of its own drone, which was shot down by the Houthis earlier in December. The strikes took place on December 22, several hours after the announcement of the Houthis that they had downed the CH-4 drone of the Saudi-led coalition.

The intensification of Saudi airstrikes on targets in Yemen came as Saudi-backed forces continued suffering setbacks on the battleground. The situation is especially hard for pro-Saudi forces in the province of Marib.

  • On December 28, Ansar Allah attacked positions of Saudi-led forces in Rahba and Jabal Murad areas;
  • On December 29, clashes between Ansar Allah and Saudi-led forced continued in the Madghal area;
  • The Liaison and Coordination Officers’ Operations Room (loyal to Ansar Allah) reported 117 ceasefire violations in al-Hudaydah during the past 24 hours;
  • On December 28, Saudi-led coalition warplanes conducted 5 airstrikes on the Sawadiyah area;
  • On December 28, Saudi-led coalition warplanes conducted 2 airstrikes on the Jabal Murad area;
  • On December 28, Saudi-led coalition warplanes conducted 4 airstrikes on the Khab and Shaaf area;
  • On December 28, Saudi-led coalition warplanes conducted airstrikes on the Baqim area;
  • On December 28, Saudi-led coalition warplanes conducted airstrikes on the Kitaf area.
