Two important news came from Tehran today, the Iranian Chief of Staff for the first time acknowledged that the IRGC and regular Iranian army (Artesh) is providing advisory “technical assistance” to the Yemeni military and will continue to stand by Yemen until victory. The second announcement said that Iran has provided air defence systems to protect the PMU and expanded its security presence in Iraq at Sheikh al Mazhar airbase near Baghdad.

And hopefully now we know how good Iran’s Bavar system will work. It makes sense to first install a good air defense network in Iraq first before transfering it into Syria. As long as the IDF has free reign over Syria and Iraq the Iranians are vulnerable while setting such a system up in Syria first. It has to be pushed gradually towards Syria first, so the IDF loses airspace from which to launch attacks as new air defense systems come online, expanding the network.

Iran’s IRGC giving assistance to Houthis: Iranian army chief of staff

Yemen’s Houthi Ansarallah militia is receiving assistance from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), said the chief of staff of Iran’sarmed forces Maj. Gen. Mohammad Bagheri, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported on Tuesday.

“We are giving the Ansarallah [Houthis] advisory and intellectual assistance and the IRGC is in charge of this,” said Bagheri, adding that Iran “will stand by the Yemeni people until the end.

Not a politician but I always thought it would be better for Iran to be up front about the help they are giving the Yemenis since it only amounts to technical support.

Does it violate a strict interpretatoin of UN Sec. res. 11859? Yes but so what, the U.S. violated the UN resolution 2231 otherwise known as the JCPOA. The UN resolution on Yemen was totally one sided and unlike the JCPOA unworkable (must have been authored by the U.S.). It required the Houthis and their coalition to disarm, withdraw, and give the governance back to Hadi who has been in Riyadh for 4yrs authorizing Saudi war crimes. He will never govern any part of Yemen again.

There are internal problems in the al-Saud pimp family as even the gulf controlled media is reporting. This MBS moron has created a total mess for the already mired Saudis.

Any news on Saudi Arabia asking for a Credit Note / Refund for faulty equipment?

    • d’Artagnan

Pentagon should also seek refunds for all the dud patriots as well.

  • Selbstdenker

When you watch the first movie, you have to wonder, what the Saudis fired at with all the empty cartridges lying around. Were there any clashed before? if so, why didn’t they clean up the places? It looks like they were defending hills on a dumpster.

    • d’Artagnan

The Saudi military is not professional and make a complete mess of everything, they are untidy, disorganized rabble and just litter the desert and don’t know basic hygiene or organizing military camps.

    • goingbrokes

Fired in the air without much aim, you can burn through a lot of ammo real quick! Totally ineffective of course.

  • d’Artagnan

These repeated Saudi defeats and humiliation are beyond the realm of a rational mind. The Saudis have been stuck in Yemen for over four years now and their situation is worsening by the day, even a completely insane person would have deduced that it is time to end end this quagmire and seek peace with their neighbors.

    • goingbrokes

Yes, and the fact that they appear to be acting so irrationally is a sign that they are not controlling their own destiny.

  • DaBoiiiii

Imagine what the Yemeni Army and Popular forces guys could do with legit financial support and some actual food.

Toughest, bravest, hardest, most badass soldiers on planet Earth.

I wonder what role the Bolivarian Hizbolla, those minions of Butcher Maduro, mad dictator of Caracas, has played in these latest actions against theSaudi freedom fighters combatting Global climate change in Yemen??

  • hvaiallverden

Yeah, some eh…. hashbaNuts had crawl out of their shitholes, dont you, BMWA1, and of course, enlighten us with their stupidity witch we have to endure, like acmes, no matter what, they will stil be around, but cant be dealth with, or simply ignored.
But something they stick out like an sore thumb, and hows the weater in Hell-aviv, shithead.

I am not surpriced about Iran, and their role, witch is more pasive than offencive and thats good, not that the Houtis/Yemens cant fight, but remeber, this arent the equalls of the same level of gears that the Saudi-barbarians, but when the H&Y have something that maches, like air defence, aka missile tech to RPGs for heavy eq, witch to me is something of utmost importance, cant underline it enough, and thanks to the Iranians, the table is turned, and the fighting more focused, and so on, and this should be an rude awaeking to the Mech rat pack and the Saudi-barbarians, to rethink the entire war, since they are not going anywhere and so far, apart from bombing weddings and even moske, have nothing else, the western backed uh….. Al CIAedas will is there, yet, but they will be wiped out when that day comes, the same as in another empiric graveyard, Afganistan.

Its their attacks and the way they do it and then the terain makes it virtually impossible to see anything, this is not an PC game, real life is something else, and the Saudi-barbarian forces panics, and then you simply shoot on anything, whatever they think they see move or not, they shoot, the same as the UssA is doing with fighter planes, any collection of humans, anywhere in Afganistan is used as an exuse to wack em with bombs, and of course the MSM never talks about it, since they backing the same wars, and as an part of thru propaganda and one sided news flow, like the insane campagnes against the Yemen people.

Happy Hunting, Houtis/Yemens, wack em all.

    peace

This ongoing apology for one country helping another is a credit to the MSM power. Does the US stand on its own? The Empire’s ongoing world wide evil conspiracy to subjugate humanity in totality is the epitome of all that is wrong with the world.

That they have millions on their payroll assuring us of their complete law abiding compassion does not make it true. If a true rule of law were to suddenly appear F.uk.us and their surly friends would be in the dock or on death row, not preaching to us about how sweet they are.

So no more apologies about helping to defend the down trodden underdogs of the world. Iran has no Imperial history. Which part of the empire is not dog with endless tales of past and current genocides?
