Turkish-led Forces Retreat From Hazarin And Dar al-Kabirah In Southern Idlib (Map Update)

Click to see the full-size image

On March 2, the mighty Turkish Army and its al-Qaeda allies continued making gains setbacks in Greater Idlib.

Just on March 1, Turkish sources were vowing to conquer Damascus and Aleppo cities, and deliver a crushing blow to the Syrian Armed Forces. On March 2, they started circulating reports about a tactical retreat with the Turkish President himself talking about a ‘ceasefire’.

Since the morning of March 2, units of the Syrian Army had repelled an attack of Turkish-led forces on Kafr Nabul and retaken the villages of Hazarin and Dar al-Kabirah near it.

Push the invaders back to Turkey and the jihadists back to hell, where they belong.
No ceasefire, they must be definitly crushed.

    • cactus

it’s sad that russia is not being tough enough with the turks…putin should not accept a ceasefire now until the m4 is liberated …but there is a 95% chance that when erdogan visits russia they will reach some sort of a agreement …putin needs to talk to erdogan and say: ok listen to me mothefu*cker there is no ceasefire until the m4 is liberated …that’s the only type of language that edogan understands

      • FlorianGeyer

No ceasefire until Idlib is liberated.

Turkey wants here just an honorable exit and will have it becouse Russia can’t put his mighth on the field, being geo-politicaly blocked to deploy large military resources in Syria. I mean, those 15k turkish soldiers from syria will be just a minor issue for a contrapart of 15k russian soldiers. But Russia have no posibilitties to do this, there is an hostile ring around Russia and moving large armies over sea is not an option.

The population of Turkey growed 3 times in the last 50years so they want more power in the area, many turks are dreaming at the former might of the Otoman Empire. And Erdogan is a strong leader who can acomplish this becouse is a power vacuum in Europe, and also US seeims to contract their military arrows. For Turkey, Cyprus and Lybia are more important issues by far, and with EU and the arab world beign against them, the only option for an alliance is Russia and Iran, maybe China later. The syrian issue is more a question of ego for Erdogan, if I will be in his place I will just retreat from syria and ask for some compensations (support) in Libya or some economical advantages.

    • geopolitica

Your analysis is wrong russia just have to shut syrian sky and let iran and hezbollah do the dirty work on the ground

      • Jens Holm

        Your “just” is very infantile.

    • Jens Holm

People always forget that, when they say there too many kurds. All has made much mpre children and kept them alive.

Today its estimated that Istanbul of today has more inabitants then all the new Turkey. And there was so many more if there was greeks, armenians and kurds being not killed(the main kurds by the Turkish heroic army:( )

    • Ray Douglas

I have to confess to being slightly bewildered by the present situation. Russia has on route some serious hardware on it way to the Syrian coast. Perhaps in a day or two we may be more sure of what exactly is happening.

      • FlorianGeyer

        What type of hardware, Ray?

        • Ray Douglas

I have no specialist information only what I have read on AMN, Al Masdar News, where the claim that large heavily laden ships from the Black Sea are going to Syria. The claim is that replacement tanks and other hardware is on its way to help the SAA. Also warships with the ability to launch cruise missiles. I am still bewildered by the Turks being allowed to ‘allegedly’ bomb the SAA with impunity. I hope you have some idea of what is going on.

  • Lone Ranger

HATAY BELONGS TO SYRIA!! share it!

    • Xanatos

      Hatay belongs to Syria.
      Harran belongs to Syria.

      • Jens Holm

Syria never was there and is an artificial bad gklued konglomerate made for Neocolonialisme.

All Syria should be the old landscape Syria. I see no reason to have Hatay. You cant even handle the rest well. Are You blind.

If I had decided after WW1 in 1936(Hatay taken and given by Turks and France) and after, You should be several smaller Emirates, which were able to handle themselves well.

Syria was not Aleppo and Raqqa procinces. Half of them are a part of Turkey now. They for good reasosns has probpems there.

I cannot understand You insist and kill for a Nationalistic structure as You do right now. All of You even use Kurds as scapegoat.

And so funny blaming USA for stealing oil. Before Your everlating fighting by fear and bajonets the Baathists stole all oil and drown it in corruption of the worst for own purpose.

The soultion for that monbey and devellopment should be all “Syrians” given their part in hand for hand and children half for education.

Exact the same for Iraq. The problems there was Shiits in stead of Saddam dint share oil money and “Maliki Corruption” of te worst kind. Foreigners giving money also was robbed and also by westerns and others.

Hatay shouting right here is Sputnik progand of the wors kind.

For once try some realisme. Look at the map. Where do You see people dont support Assad. Thats Aleppo and Raqqa provinces. 5 million socalled Syrian mainly say they will never go back to Assads. Some of them say, they might go to Syria, where Assad is not.

    • cactus

      gazienteb belongs to syria

      • Porc Halal

        Including hyper19…lol!

      • Jens Holm

I would say it didbelong and should in 1936, but if so, there should be no Syria there but fx an Alawite State with Latakia. 38% were Turks and only 10% were arabs.

Syria is a misguided artificial konglomerate and Assads certainly has given no glue for that apart from bajonets and fear.

Look at the map. Which parts still has uprisers and local independers. Thats not the old Syrian Landscaqpe but the Old Procinces Aleppo and Raqqa.

If I was there after WW1 and decided, the Aleppo and Raqqa Provinces should have been their own Emirates between Turkey and Syria as well as a alawit Emirate.

Peaople at that time was not able to handle bigger states and France shoukd have made several small ones. The same goes for the Turks. Thay never should have had half of Aleppo and Raqqa.

Its the same for Iraq. According to You traditions, Your max is handling Emirate seize relative well. Its eaxact the same for Iran/Turkey having problems ever since Balfour 2 and Lausanne.

I laugh and cry.Today You fight about a border made by a railway made by germans for Osmans. East of that. And even worse we see many Turks and Kurds killing up to 2 million Armenians, other Christians, Tasedis and Jews still fight about the things, they stole from those dead ones.

You certainly are united in this. Its quagmire as if it is muddy dirt all over.

I have no power but as a private person it made a lot more sense to gain or Regain the Aleppo and Raqqa provinces. Raqqa procinse alsio is a litle more downstream in Iraq.

    • Porc Halal

Turkey belongs to greeks, armenians, assyrians and kurds!!..but if russia wants turkey all for it self, so be it!.. i don’t mind at all…

      • Jens Holm

Ha ha. Tempting for someone like me to go back to the Roman periode ruling from Rome. They rook the 8 or 10 staes one by one. We could regain them as well.

The last independent actually was Kappadonia, where Ankara is today.

I never liked expansivisme. I might vote for Armenians getting their old part back and I dont think greeks deserve anything. Old Byzantines collpased themselves almost as Osmans did.

      • Lonesome Cowboy Burt

Could be considered payback for what was done to the USSR, perhaps?

    • Jens Holm

Oil is same thing. The big mistake is You are not able to share. The income should be given to each person every year and given half to childre for education. You ignore a lot of the oil money only reached very few supercorrupt people and investments for improvemenets has not been possible for decaded.

Hatay is nothing. You should reduce Your problems. Supporting something about Hatay guided by fx Sputnik is eating propganda as sheep.

Realisme please. Realisme from all sides.

Geopolitical scheming knows not of religion. That’s why Ziodi Arabia and the Rothschild neocolony in Palestine have been covert partners since the British fabricated both regimes.

        • Jens Holm

Israel is no Rothchild colony and never meant as a state. It was a non religios try for covering the declining brittish empire better – suez, oil – making a semi european modern country by filling jews in.

The people comming there mainly was very poor ones from Eatern Europe even most of those went to fx USA and Argentina.

That came out of hand because of WW2. Here its true rich jews did a good job, which included money.

I will never blame those rich jews for helping other jews even the result is a state, which never should have been accepted. Those Jews and other even killed in owens deserved anyuthing else then staying, where they were.

When I see the alternatives in Your world, I am not impressed at all. Well armed greedy non devellopers being just small replacers af the Osmans in the same ineffective context.

You are not even able to follow the Holy Choran and give women the rights, they have accorfing to that and the other 2 scripts.

A 100 year old Sharia is like driving around in a 100 years old car and You even insist. You should learn from Your enemies. Israel strenght is not strength. You insist in produce hardly anything. Even oil mainly is taken up by others. If it was for You it still was only for lamps having the value of 0.

Now Austria is joining Hungary and Greece in opposing Erdogan’s migrant madness. Most of them aren’t even Syrian. Erdogan just keeps making new enemies within the EU. No wonder why he’s losing support when these countries can just veto against the EU elites. Sorry if these articles are in Hungarian, but they can be easily translated.

Agreed 100%. Even in some of the live footage I’ve seen in Hungarian and Greek media, the people don’t even look Syrian. A sizeable number looked like they’d come from South Asia (Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc.) or sub-Saharan Africa (Somalia, Eretria, etc.).

Fresh batch of Hungarian police going to the Serbian and Macedonian borders. Hopefully, there’s more to come. I really want Erdogan himself to see the pandemonium that he is causing to Europe, in addition to seeing more countries taking a stand against his crazy demands. This migrant issue may very well be what prevents Erdogan from getting his war support. Greece proved that with it’s great veto.

I have heard that the US F35 has been infected by the virus ‘Bavar-373’.
It is fatal to F35’s in the hangers, and when visiting foreign lands, Al.
Trump is investing 1 trillion dollars to fine a vaccine.

With a bit of luck , Nancy will suddenly die of ‘irrelevance’ soon.

    • You can call me Al

Do not trust those cunts, they have sent one of their fleets to the med.

Talk about a shortlived “victory”. I guess we’re finally witnessing the last gasps of the Qaeda Democracy Crew.

It was never a question of the Turks winning this. That was all drama. ALL the members of the Silk Road project are implementing this. Sucks to be Zio Nazi at this juncture, LOL.

Good job, looks like the southern front has been re-stabilized now.

Um…. isn’t all this celebrating a bit premature? Unless Putin got on a private line with Erdo and threatened him with nuclear anhillation. Otherwise the Turks are simply going to restart the airstrikes.
