S-400 air defense systems supplied by Russia to Turkish will become fully operational in April-May 2020, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar announced on January 15.
“The training of the personnel for the S-400 systems as well as the deployment of the systems are going as it has been planned. They will become operational in April or May,” Hulusi Akar said, according to Turkiye news outlet.
In late 2019, the Turkish military already conducted tests of the received S-400 and, according to reports, the weapon system exceeded their expectations. MORE HERE
