A true friend of Ukraine, one who has allegedly embezzled millions, if not billions of dollars from the country – Joe Biden now sits in the White House.
As such, Kiev has felt this as an increase in support for its activities and is immediately planning to organize an escalation, both in regard to Russia, but also in Eastern Ukraine.
On February 5th, the Ukrainian security service – SBU announced the transfer of former military intelligence officers of Ukraine “to the side of Russia.”
Ukrainian counterintelligence agents are confident that they managed to “expose the FSB agent network” that operated in several regions of the country. The group included former special forces of the military intelligence of Ukraine.
The SBU claims that they were “recruited” by Russian security service – FSB officers to carry out reconnaissance missions, sabotage operations, and also to collect information about the deployment and movements of the army.
At the same time, Ukrainian intelligence officers claimed that the Russian special services allegedly wanted to kidnap one of the former commanders of the Special Operations Forces.
As “proof” they quote a certain “object of recruitment” who promised to complete the task for “a hundred rubles.”
It is alleged that the “agents” also tried to win over the officials of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is also reported that four AK-74s, two pistols, two RPGs, 44 grenades, about four thousand cartridges and about three kilograms of TNT were seized from the “agents recruited by the FSB”.
The detainees are charged with crimes under articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “High treason”, “Creation of a terrorist group or terrorist organization” and “Illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives.”
The Security Service of Ukraine has repeatedly announced the alleged “discovery of FSB agents” in the country. Earlier, employees of the department detained an “FSB officer” nicknamed Dzhigurda in the Kherson region, who was supposed to form protest moods in the Ukrainian regions for their secession from the country.
The SBU also reported that he was “covering up the cell of Russian agents” who allegedly tried to steal blueprints for the “secret” Neptune missile.
At the same time, Russian specialists noted that this is a rather outdated development of the Soviet era and there is no military secret in this weapon for Moscow.
Naturally, by pure accident, the story of the FSB recruits and the Russian spies, somehow, coincided with the negative socio-political developments in Ukraine, and also with the beginning of an escalation in Eastern Ukraine.
Recently Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak, visited the area of the Joint Forces Operation in Eastern Ukraine as part of the inspection of the combat readiness of the troops.
The day after his visit, three servicemen were blown up in an IED incident. Two of them were killed.
Meanwhile, the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics reported regular and frequent ceasefire violations from the Ukrainian side.
These incidents were entirely absent in the weeks prior to US President Donald Trump vacating office. As soon as Biden came back, and his vows to antagonize Russia even further, the escalations in Eastern Ukraine immediately began, once again.
Heavy censorship also began, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky sanctioning members of the opposition and shutting down TV channels that aren’t supportive of the government.
Surely, just an accident.
